Yes! Epic Islands is free to download and play. The first 4 islands — Jungle, Desert, Volcanic, and Arctic — are completely free with full gameplay. Premium islands (Mystical, Ocean Depths, Sky Fortress, Shadow Realm) and optional cosmetic items are available as in-app purchases.
Epic Islands uses Apple Game Center for cloud saves. Sign in to Game Center on your iOS device and your progress will automatically sync across all your devices. If you play on multiple devices, always make sure Game Center is signed in to avoid losing progress.
Yes! Core gameplay works completely offline — explore islands, battle enemies, craft gear, and build your Home Island without an internet connection. You need internet for leaderboards, cloud save sync, weekly challenges, seasonal events, and in-app purchases.
Open the in-game shop and tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. If purchases don't restore, try signing out and back into your Apple ID, then try again.
Epic Islands requires iOS 15.0 or later and runs on all compatible iPhones and iPads. The game is optimized for both phone and tablet screen sizes. An Apple Silicon Mac can also run the game via the iPad app.
Open Settings on your iOS device, tap your name at the top, then tap "Subscriptions". Find "Epic Islands VIP" and tap "Cancel Subscription". You will retain VIP access until the end of your current billing period. The 3-day free trial can be cancelled anytime before it converts to a paid subscription.
Each boss has specific weaknesses. Make sure to: 1) Upgrade your gear at the Forge before the fight. 2) Craft potions that counter the boss's element. 3) Check the boss's attack pattern in the first phase before going all-out. 4) Invest skill points in the branch that counters the boss. To delete all server-side data associated with your account, contact us at privacy@epicislands.net. We will process your request within 30 days as required by GDPR. Local device data can be removed by deleting the app.
