1. Information We Collect

Gameplay Data: Level, progress, achievements, inventory, and scores. Stored locally on your device and synced to our servers for cloud saves and leaderboards.

Device Info: Device model, OS version, and language setting for compatibility and crash reporting. No unique device identifiers are collected.

Game Center: Your Game Center display name and player ID for leaderboards, achievements, and friend features. Managed by Apple.

Purchase Data: Transaction IDs for in-app purchases. We do not store payment card details — all payments are processed by Apple.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Real name, email, phone number, or physical address
  • Photos, contacts, or location data
  • Browsing history or data from other apps
  • Data from children under 13 (see Section 7)

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Save and sync game progress across your devices
  • Display leaderboards and achievements
  • Validate in-app purchases
  • Improve game performance and fix bugs
  • Deliver push notifications (only with your permission)

4. Third-Party Services

Apple Game Center: Leaderboards and achievements. Apple Privacy Policy

Google AdMob: Rewarded video ads (optional). Google Privacy Policy. AdMob may use device identifiers for ad personalization. You can opt out in iOS Settings › Privacy › Tracking.

Apple StoreKit: In-app purchases processed entirely by Apple.

5. Data Storage & Security

Game data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. We retain gameplay data for the life of your account. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Advertising

We show optional rewarded video ads via Google AdMob. You choose when to watch ads in exchange for in-game rewards. Purchase "Remove Ads" ($2.99) to disable all advertising permanently. We fully support Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Epic Islands is rated 9+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The game does not require account creation or personal data entry. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, please contact us for immediate deletion.

8. GDPR (European Users)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to: access your data, request deletion, restrict processing, and data portability. Contact us at the email below to exercise these rights. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Your Choices

  • Push Notifications: Manage in iOS Settings
  • Ad Tracking: Manage in iOS Settings › Privacy › Tracking
  • Cloud Saves: Disable Game Center to use local-only saves
  • Delete Data: Contact us to delete all server-side data

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated via an in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
